Idadi ya viongozi wanawake yaongezeka
WAKUU wa mikoa wanawake wameongezeka kutoka asilimia 10 mwaka 2005 hadi asilimia 23 mwaka 2022, huku wakuu wa wilaya wakiongezeka kutoka asilimia 19 hadi asilimia 25 mwaka huu.
Takwimu hizo zimetolewa leo na Rais wa Tanzania, Dk. Samia Suluhu aliposhiriki Kongamano la nne la Wanawake Vijana wa Mtandao wa Viongozi Afrika lililofanyika visiwani Zanzibar.
“Idadi ya wanawake katika vyombo vya maamuzi imeongezeka na inakaribia kufikia nusu wabunge Tanzania [wabunge wanawake] wameongezeka kutoka asilimia 21.5 mwaka 2005 hadi asilimia 37 mwaka 2022.” amesema Rais Dk Samia.
Rais, Dk Samia amesema anataka kuona wanawake wakiingia kwenye masoko ya kikanda na kuyatumia masoko hayo kama hatua ya kwenda mbali zaidi hadi kwenye masoko ya nje.
