Serikali yaja na mpango wa helkopta za wagonjwa
DAR ES SALAAM: WAZIRI wa Afya Ummy Mwalimu amesema wizara yake ipo kwenye mazungumzo ya kununua helikopta za kubebea wagonjwa (air ambulance) katika maeneo yasiyofikika kwa urahisi.
Ummy ameweka bayana hayo leo, Oktoba 28, 2023, wakati wa uzinduzi wa ripoti ya Utafiti wa Afya ya Uzazi na Mtoto na Viashiria vya Malaria Tanzania 2022, akisema kuwa Wizara hiyo inafanya mazungumzo na Wizara za Ulinzi na Jeshi la Kujenga Taifa na Fedha kufanikisha hilo.
Ametolea mfano maeneo yasiyofikika kwa urahisi kuwa ni pamoja na Mafia, Loliondo, visiwa vya Ukerewe.
Aidha Ummy pia amesema kuwa Serikali inatarajia kuanzisha mfumo wa taifa ya uratibu na matumizi ya magari ya kubeba wagonjwa (ambulance).

“Tutaingiza katika mfumo wa kisasa…mgonjwa akihitaji na daktari akihitaji atapata,” amesema.
