MAMLAKA ya Mapato Tanzania (TRA) imesajili wafanyabiashara wadogo ‘machinga’ 5,273 katika zoezi lililoanza Februari mwaka huu ili kuwaingiza katika mfumo wa malipo ya kodi kwa makadirio.
Meneja wa TRA Mkoa wa Kikodi Kariakoo, Alex Katundu amesema usajili huo utawezesha wafanyabiashara kulipa kodi. “Tulibaini baadhi ya wafanyabiashara Kariakoo sio waaminifu. Haonekani wakifanya biashara ila mizigo yao mingi inasambazwa kwa machinga,” amesema.
“Sasa tunaendelea na kuwasajili wamachinga na wale tunaojiridhisha mapato yao ni zaidi ya Sh milioni 4 kwa mwaka wote walipe kodi,” amesema Katundualipokutana na kuzungumza na waandishi wa habari kuhusu mkakati wa matumizi sahihi ya EFD kwa wauzaji na wanunuzi katika eneo la Kariakoo.
