Watanzania wote kupata NIDA
WAZIRI Mkuu, Kassim Majaliwa amesema mkakati wa Serikali ni kumwezesha kila Mtanzania apate kitambulisho cha Taifa akiwa kijijini kwake.
Amesema hayo leo Alhamisi, Mei 11, 2023 bungeni wakati akijibu swali la Mbunge wa Biharamulo Magharibi, Mhandisi Ezra Chiwelesa kwenye kipindi cha maswali ya papo kwa papo kwa Waziri Mkuu.
Mbunge huyo alitaka kujua ni kwa nini Serikali haioni haja ya kuanza mchakato wa kuhuisha vitambulisho vya Taifa kama ilivyofanya kwenye zoezi la awali kwa kuwa kuna vijana wengi ambao wamefikisha umri wa miaka 18 na hawakupata fursa ya kujiandikisha kwenye awamu ya kwanza kwa hiyo hawana vitambulisho hivyo kama sera inavyotaka ikiwemo wananchi wa mikoa ya pembezoni.
Akijibu swali hilo, Waziri Mkuu amesema Serikali inaendelea na zoezi la utoaji wa vitambulisho kupitia taasisi ya NIDA ambayo awali ilikuwa na changamoto ya upungufu wa watumishi lakini hivi sasa imeshatatuliwa.
“Awali tulikuwa na idadi ndogo sana ya watumishi wa kuweza kuwafikia wananchi. Kwa sasa tumeongeza idadi ya watumishi na ninamshukuru Mheshimiwa Mbunge kwa kuipongeza Serikali kwani vitambulisho vinatolewa kwa wingi.”amesema Majaliwa.
Waziri Mkuu amesema alishafanya ziara katika mikoa ya Kigoma, Kagera na Arusha (wilaya za Biharamulo na Longido) akakuta kuna changamoto ya upatikanaji wa vitambulisho hivyo kwa sababu kasi ya utoaji ni ndogo.
“Inawezekana kabisa wale ambao hawajafikiwa na hasa kwenye mikoa ya pembezoni, ni kutokana na kuwepo kwa changamoto ya muingiliano wa mataifa ya jirani. Kitambulisho hiki ni cha Taifa, na kinahusu usalama wa Taifa letu, tusingependa asiye raia awe nacho kwa sababu kitambulisho hiki ni mali ya Watanzania. Ndiyo maana, kwenye maeneo ya mpakani umakini unaongezeka.” Ameongeza Waziri Mkuu.
Majaliwa amesema Serikali itawafikia wananchi zaidi kwa kuwapatia vitambulisho na wale ambao bado hawajapata, itawapatia namba za vitambulisho ili wazitumie kwenye mahitaji yao wakati wakisubiri kupatiwa[IK1] vitambulisho hivyo.
