Proverb: “Hakuna lenye mwanzo likakosa mwisho.”

Meaning:This proverb means that everything that has a beginning will eventually have an end. Nothing continues forever. It can be used to encourage someone who is going through a difficult situation, reminding them that the situation will eventually change or come to an end.

Origin:It is a Swahili/African traditional proverb passed down through oral tradition. Like many Swahili proverbs, it expresses wisdom about life and human experiences rather than having one known individual author.

How to use it in a sentence:

“Usikate tamaa kwa sababu ya matatizo unayopitia; hakuna lenye mwanzo likakosa mwisho.”

English:

“Do not lose hope because of the difficulties you are going through; everything that has a beginning will eventually have an end.”

Another example:“Walikuwa na kipindi kigumu kazini, lakini waliendelea kuvumilia wakijua kwamba hakuna lenye mwanzo likakosa mwisho.”

In short:

Beginning → eventually → ending.

It teaches patience, hope, and acceptance of change.
