Majaliwa ataka uchunguzi miradi ya afya Rukwa
WAZIRI MKUU Kassim Majaliwa amesema hajaridhishwa na maendeleo ya ujenzi wa miradi ya Hospitali ya Manispaa ya Sumbawanga na Kituo cha Afya cha Matanga mkoani Rukwa, ambapo tayari Serikali imeshatoa zaidi ya shilingi bilioni mbili.-
Hivyo, Waziri Mkuu amemuagiza Mkuu wa Taasisi ya Kuzuia na Kupambana na Rushwa (TAKUKURU) Wilaya ya Sumbawanga, James Mbungano ahakikishe uchunguzi wa matumizi ya fedha za miradi hiyo unakamilika kwa wakati.
Miradi hiyo ni ya ujenzi wa hospitali ya Manispaa ya Sumbawanga, ambayo ujenzi wake umegharimu shilingi bilioni 1.5, ambao bado haujakamilika licha ya kujengwa chini ya viwango. Amesema kwa kiwango hicho cha fedha walichopokea walitakiwa wawe wamekamilisha majengo matano.-
Waziri Mkuu amesema mradi mwingine ni wa ujenzi wa kituo cha Afya cha Matanga, ambacho mpaka sasa wameshapokea shilingi milioni 500, lakini ujenzi wake bado haujakamilika.-
“ Ujenzi wa vituo vya Afya nchini ni shilingi milioni 400 na shilingi milioni 500 katika maeneo ya pembezoni. Hapa mlitakiwa muwe mmemaliza na kituo kianze kuhudumia wananchi.”
Mradi huo ambao unatekelezwa kwa awamu mbili, ambapo Novemba 2021 walipokea shilingi milioni 250 kwa ajili ya ujenzi wa majengo matatu ambayo ni Jengo la wagonjwa wa nje (OPD), maabara na kichomea taka na kwa Machi 2022 walipokea shilingi milioni 250, kwa ajili ya ujenzi wa majengo manne ambayo ni jengo la wazazi, jengo la upasuaji, jengo la kufulia na jengo la watembea kwa miguu.
Ameyasema hayo leo Alhamisi, Desemba 15, 2022, alipokagua miradi hiyo akiwa katika ziara ya kikazi mkoani Rukwa na amemtaka Mkuu wa TAKUKURU wilayani Sumbawanga akamilishe uchunguzi wa miradi hiyo kwa wakat, ili Serikali iweze kuchukua hatua stahiki.
Akizungumza wakati akikagua ujenzi wa hospitali ya Manispaa ya Sumbawanga, Waziri Mkuu amesema kuwa haiwezekani taarifa za ujenzi zioneshe kuwa ujenzi wa hospitali hiyo umefikia asilimia 91, ikiwa idadi ya majengo yaliyopaswa kujengwa kwa kiasi cha fedha kilichotolewa haijatimia na hakuna miundombinu kama vyoo na mfumo wa maji lakini watumishi wameshapelekwa.
“Hili halikubaliki. Haiwezekani mpewe fedha ya ujenzi wa majengo matano mmemaliza fedha yote halafu mnaomba kuongezewa nyingine, nimeambiwa fedha inayokuja sio kwa ajili ya kukamilisha majengo hayo ni ya ujenzi wa majengo tofauti yanayotakiwa yajengwe kwa lengo la kuimarisha huduma za afya kwa wananchi.”
Kwa upande wake, Naibu Katibu Mkuu Ofisi ya Rais-TAMISEMI anayeshughulikia afya, Grace Magembe amesema wameshafanya tathimini ya utekelezaji wa miradi mbalimbali kwenye mikoa nchini, lakini Mkoa wa Rukwa haujafanya vizur.
“Tathimini tuliyoifanya inaonesha hawakufanya vizuri sio kwenye sekta ya afya tu, bali hata sekta ya elimu,” amesema.
