Shambulio la Israel ni ugaidi wa serikali
DOHA, QATAR : WAZIRI Mkuu na Waziri wa Mambo ya Nje wa Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, ameibuka na kauli kali dhidi ya Israel kufuatia shambulio la anga lililotikisa mji wa Doha, akilitaja tukio hilo kama uhaini na ugaidi wa serikali.
Akizungumza na waandishi wa habari usiku wa kuamkia leo, Septemba 10, 2025, Al Thani alisema taifa lake halitavumilia ukiukwaji wowote wa mamlaka na uadilifu wa eneo, na kwamba Qatar iko tayari kukabiliana na tishio lolote linalohatarisha usalama wake. “Tuna haki ya kujibu shambulio hili la wazi, na tutachukua hatua zote muhimu kukabiliana nalo,” alisema.
Kauli hiyo imetolewa wakati mvutano wa kisiasa na usalama wa Mashariki ya Kati ukiendelea kushika kasi, huku shambulio la Israel likionekana kubadilisha upepo wa mazungumzo ya amani yaliyokuwa yanaendelea. SOMA: Shambulio la Israel latikisa Doha
Kwa mujibu wa Al Thani, Marekani iliijulisha Qatar kuhusu shambulio hilo dakika kumi baada ya kutokea. Aliongeza kuwa Israel ilitumia silaha ambazo hazikugunduliwa na rada za ulinzi, jambo linaloacha maswali kuhusu namna operesheni hiyo ilivyopangwa na kutekelezwa.
Kiongozi huyo hakusita kusema kuwa hatua hiyo inalenga kuhujumu jitihada za amani zilizokuwa zinafanyika kwa ombi la Marekani katika siku za hivi karibuni. “Jaribio hili la kuyumbisha usalama na utulivu wa kikanda linaonyesha wazi nani ni mnyanyasaji katika eneo hili,” alisema.
Aidha, alimshutumu Waziri Mkuu wa Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, kwa kuruhusu shambulio hilo, hatua aliyoitaja kuwa ni ukiukwaji wa sheria za kimataifa na kikwazo kwa juhudi za kuimarisha amani.
Licha ya mazingira hayo, Al Thani alisisitiza kuwa Qatar haijakata tamaa na itaendelea kushikilia nafasi yake ya upatanishi katika migogoro ya kikanda.
“Diplomasia yetu imejengwa juu ya misingi ya utulivu na suluhu za kisiasa. Hakuna kitendo cha uadui kitakachotuzuia kuendeleza jitihada za kuleta amani na utulivu wa kikanda,” alisema.
Kauli hiyo imeweka wazi dhamira ya Doha kuendeleza wajibu wake wa kidiplomasia licha ya shinikizo la kijeshi linaloongezeka. Kwa Qatar, shambulio hilo limekuwa ushahidi kwamba changamoto za Mashariki ya Kati haziwezi kutanzuliwa kwa mabomu, bali kwa mazungumzo, na kwamba diplomasia ndiyo njia pekee ya kulinda mustakabali wa eneo hilo.
