Mikakati mitano kudhibiti vifo vya vijana
DAR-ES-SALAAM : WIZARA ya Afya imesema imewekeza katika maeneo matano ili kupambana na tatizo la kuzuia kujiua huku takwimu zikionesha kujiua ni sababu kuu ya vifo kwa vijana kati ya umri wa miaka 15 hadi 29 ambapo kwa kila kifo kimoja cha kujitoa uhai kuna majaribio mengine ya kujitoa uhai yasiyopungua 40.
Taarifa iliyotolewa na Mganga Mkuu wa Serikali ,Dk Grace Magembe imesema kila mwaka Septemba 10 Tanzania huungana na mataifa mengine katika kuadhimisha siku ya kujizuia kujiua Duniani ambapo kwa mwaka huu kauli mbinu ni “Kuleta matumaini kupitia vitendo” ikilenga kuchukua hatua ,shirikiana na famili,marafiki,wahudumu wa afya ,viongozi wa dini na siasa ili kupunguza vifo na kulinda afya za akili kwa kupitia ushauri nasaha ambapo itawezesha wengine kuchukua udhibiti wa maisha yao na kuthamini uhai walionao.
Dk Maghembe amesema kwa mujibu wa takwimu zinaonesha tatizo la kujiua linazidi kukua ambapo Shirika la Afya Duniani(WHO) linaonesha kuwa kila sekunde mtu mmoja hujitoa uhai hii ni takribani na sawa na watu 800,000 kila mwaka duniani kote.
“Mawazo ya kujiua yanaweza kumpata mtu yoyote awe kijana ,mzazi,rafiki au jirani yako na mara nyingi mtu anayeteseka kisaikolojia huwa hajioneshi .Anaweza kucheka mchana lakini analia peke yake usiku ,tusikae kimya watu wanaoficha mawazo ya kujiua wanahitaji mazingira salama ya kuongea na msaada usiohukumu tusipuuze mtu anaposema hana furaha au hana sababu ya kuishi.
Amesema Serikali kwa kushirikiana na wadau mbalimbali inaendelea kuimarisha huduma za afya ya akili na kupambana na tatizo la kujitoa uhai kwa kuanzisha kampeni za uhamasishaji ,kuboresha huduma za ushauri nasaha katika vituo vya kutolea huduma za afya.
Ameongeza kuwa pia wameanzisha dawati la usaidizi wa kisaikolojia ambapo wateja wanapiga simu namba 199 bure na kupata elimu na ushauri wa kisaikikolojia au kutuma ujumbe mfupi wa maandishi kwenda namba 15061,kutoa mafunzo kwa wahudumu wa afya ,paomja na kushirikiana na asasi za kiraia na viongozi wa dini ili kuondoa dhana ya unyanyapaa na kuhimiza watu kutafuta msaada mapema.
“Tuwasikilize kwa makini na tuwaeleze kwamba msaada upo na kuongea kuhusu huzuni,msongo wa mawazo na kujiua si aibu bado ni njia ya kupata msaada kwa tatizo la kiafya linalotibika,”amesisitiza . SOMA: Dalili, namna ya kusaidia anayetaka kujiua
Aidha amesema wizara inatoa inatoa wito kwa jamii nzima kuwa sehemu ya suluhisho katika kupambana na tatizo la kujitoa uhai ,ijifunze kusikiliza bila kuhukumu ,kuonesha upendo na huruma kwa wale wanaopitia changamoto za afya ya akili na kuwahimiza kutafuta msaada wa mapema .
“Tujenge mazingira salama ya kuzungumza wazi bila aibu na tuondoe dhana unyanyapaa dhidi ya matatizo ya akili ndani ya jamii zetu kila mmoja wetu anajukumu la kulinda na kuthamini maisha tuungane kuleta tumaini kupitia vitendo,”amesema Dk Maghembe.
