RC afurahishwa Kiswahili kupandishwa Mlima Kilimajaro
Mkuu wa Mkoa wa Kilimanjaro, Nurdin Babu ameipongeza Wizara ya Elimu, Sayansi na Teknolojia kwa juhudi zake za kuendeleza lugha ya Kiswahili ikiwa ni pamoja na kupandisha bendera ya Kiswahili kilele cha Mlima Kilimanjaro.
Babu ametoa pongezi hizo wakati akiwapokea Mabalozi, wanajeshi, viongozi wa serikali pamoja na wananchi kutoka taasisi mbalimbali waliopanda Mlima Kilimanjaro kuadhimisha miaka 61 ya Uhuru wa Tanzania Bara.
Katika maadhimisho hayo, Wizara ya Elimu, Sayansi na Teknolojia ilipandisha bendera ya kuhamasisha matumizi ya Kiswahili iliyokuwa na ujumbe, ‘Kiswahili Kileleni’.
“Kiswahili ni moja ya tunu ya Taifa na sisi kama Watanzania lazima tujivunie lugha yetu. Mabalozi wananafasi nzuri zaidi ya kutangaza Kiswahili chetu katika nchi wanazotuwakilisha hivyo watumie fursa hii kujionea vivutio vyetu ili wavitangaze vyema pamoja na lugha yetu ya Kiswahili,” alisema Babu.
Mkuu huyo wa Mkoa pia alisisitiza juu ya matumizi sahihi ya lugha ya Kiswahili badala ya kuchanganya Kiswahili na lugha zingine.
Kwa upande wake Seleman Chamshama mtumishi kutoka Idara ya Elimu Maalum, Wizara ya Elimu, Sayansi na Teknolojia ambaye alishirikiana na mwenzake, Nestory Owano waliowezesha kufikisha bendera hiyo ya Kiswahili kileleni mwa Mlima Kilimanjaro amewashkuru viongozi wa wizara hiyo kuwapatia nafasi na heshima ya kuweka historia ya kupandisha kileleni bendera hiyo ya Kiswahili.
Amesema kuwa lengo la kupandisha bendera hiyo ya Kiswahili ni kuenzi juhudu za Baba wa Taifa, Hayati Mwal. Julius Nyerere katika aliyetamani kuona Kiswahili kikizungumzwa zaidi na matifa mbalimbali barani Afrika na duniani kote.
“Kwa kupandisha pia bendera hii ya Kiswahili ni kuenzi kazi kubwa inayofanywa na Rais wetu Mhe. Dkt. Samia Suluhu Hassan ambaye anakitangaza Kiswahili kwenye ziara zake mbalimbali za nje ya nchi hivyo hatuna budi kumuunga mkono kwa kila mtu kwa nafasi yake,” amesema Chamshama.
Naye Mratibu wa Elimu Kikanda na Kimataifa, Hilda Bukozo amewashukuru wadau wote walioshirikiana kufanikisha zoezi hilo na kuhamasisha ushirikiano zaidi katika kutangaza Kiswahili ndani nan je ya nchi.
Jumla ya wapanda mlima 200 walipanda mlima huo kuanzia tarehe Desemba 5 mpaka 10 kuadhimisha sherehe za miaka 61 ya Uhuru wa Tanzania Bara ambao husherehekewa kila ifikapo Desemba 9, kila mwaka.
