SOS Children’s Villages Tanzania kunufaisha vijana Iringa
IRINGA: Katika Kijiji cha Kiwele, wilayani Iringa, Saraphina Sanga anaishi kwa ushuhuda wa mabadiliko ya kweli. Akiwa na umri wa miaka 17 tayari alikuwa mama wa mtoto akiwa amezima ndoto zake, asiye na uhuru, akihisi aibu na kuishi kwa kujificha. Hakuwa na matumaini ya kesho wala sauti ya kujitetea mbele ya jamii.
Kupitia Mradi wa Watoto Wenye Watoto uliotekelezwa mkoani Iringa na SOS Children’s Villages Tanzania, Saraphina alipata nafasi ya pili maishani baada ya kufundishwa elimu ya malezi chanya, stadi za ujasiriamali, pamoja na maarifa kuhusu afya ya uzazi.
Leo hii, Saraphina anaonekana mpya – ni msichana aliyejaa kujiamini, anayefahamu haki zake, na mwenye ndoto za mbali kwa ajili ya maisha yake na mtoto wake.
“Kabla ya kuingia kwenye mradi, nilikuwa siwezi kuongea hata mbele ya wanawake wenzangu. Niliona kama maisha yangu yameishia pale nilipopata mimba. Lakini sasa naweza kuzungumza, nina biashara zangu, na nawashauri hata wasichana wengine kijijini kuhusu ndoto zao,” anasema Saraphina kwa sauti ya utulivu na tabasamu la ushindi.
Shuhuda ya Saraphina imekuwa msingi wa hamasa katika uzinduzi wa mradi mpya wa miaka mitatu uitwao Mradi wa Kuwezesha Vijana katika Afua za Afya ya Uzazi na Uchumi Endelevu mkoani Iringa, unaolenga kufikia mabinti waliopata watoto katika umri mdogo na wanaoishi katika mazingira hatarishi, na vijana wa kike na kiume wa kundi la balehe.
Mradi huo wa miaka mitatu, unaotekelezwa na SOS Children’s Villages Tanzania kwa ufadhili wa Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje ya Finland, umezinduliwa rasmi mkoani Iringa na unalenga kuboresha ustawi wa vijana, kuhimiza usawa wa kijinsia, kupambana na ukatili wa kijinsia, umasikini na ukosefu wa elimu kuhusu afya ya uzazi.
Utafanyika katika wilaya za Mufindi na Kilolo, na unatarajiwa kuwafikia vijana 30,000, pamoja na kuwawezesha kiuchumi kinamama 300 waliopata watoto wakiwa na umri mdogo.
Akizungumza wakati wa uzinduzi, Naibu Mkurugenzi wa SOS Children’s Villages Tanzania, Doroth Ndege amesema kupitia uzoefu wa miradi iliyopita kama ule wa Mtoto Mwenye Mtoto, na mafanikio kwa watu kama Saraphina, mradi huo mpya umejengwa juu ya msingi imara wa ushahidi wa mabadiliko chanya yanayowezekana pale jamii inapowekeza katika elimu, afya na ustawi wa kijinsia kwa vijana.
“Mradi huu mpya ni sehemu ya juhudi endelevu za shirika letu ambazo zimejikita katika malezi mbadala na kuwawezesha vijana kiuchumi kwa miaka zaidi ya 30 sasa. Tunataka kuona vijana hasa wasichana waliokatishwa ndoto zao na ujauzito wa mapema wakiamka tena, wakijiamini, na kuwa sehemu ya mabadiliko ya jamii yao,” alisema.
Alisema mradi huo mpya ni mwendelezo wa afua za awali zilizotekelezwa kuanzia mwaka 2021 hadi 2023 kupitia mradi wa “Watoto Wenye Watoto”, ambao ulifanikisha tafiti na tathmini mbalimbali zilizosaidia kubaini mahitaji halisi ya jamii ya Iringa.
“Sasa, afua zilizopatikana kupitia mafunzo ya awali zimeimarishwa zaidi na zitaelekezwa moja kwa moja kwa walengwa wenye uhitaji mkubwa,” alisema na kuongeza kwamba pamoja na kuimarisha huduma za afya ya uzazi, mradi pia umejikita katika kuzijengea uwezo jamii kwa ujumla ili kuondoa unyanyapaa na kuweka mazingira bora kwa vijana na kina mama wadogo kupata nafasi ya pili kimaisha.
“Mradi utahakikisha huduma zinazotolewa ni jumuishi na zisizo na ubaguzi, kwa kuweka pia msisitizo maalum kwa kundi la watu wenye ulemavu,” alisema.
Alisema shirika la SOS Children’s Villages limekuwa likitoa huduma kwa watoto na vijana nchini Tanzania tangu mwaka 1991, na linafanya kazi katika mikoa ya Unguja, Pemba, Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Mwanza, Dodoma, na Iringa na mpaka sasa, huduma zake zimewanufaisha walengwa wa moja kwa moja zaidi ya 81,000.
Tangu shirika hilo liingie mkoani Iringa mwaka 2016 alisema, zaidi ya vijana 20,000 na kaya zaidi ya 500 za wajane na familia zenye kipato cha chini wamefikiwa kupitia programu mbalimbali za kuwezesha wanawake kiuchumi, elimu ya malezi chanya, kupinga ukatili wa kijinsia, stadi za maisha na kuwawezesha mabinti waliopata watoto wakiwa katika umri mdogo huku pia zikinufaika na miradi hiyo.
Alisema kwa kupitia utekelezaji wa mradi huu mpya, SOS Children’s Villages Tanzania inalenga kuchangia katika kufikia lengo lake la kimkakati la kuwafikia wanufaika milioni 2.5 ifikapo mwaka 2028 — kwa kuweka msingi wa jamii yenye usawa, haki, na fursa kwa kila mtoto na kijana.
Akizindua mradi huo, Katibu Tawala Msaidizi (Utawala na Usimamizi Rasilimali Watu) mkoa wa Iringa aliyemwakilisha Katibu Tawala wa Mkoa, Nuru Sovela, alisema serikali inatambua mchango mkubwa wa miradi kama hii katika kuleta mabadiliko ya kweli kwa vijana.
“Tunavutiwa na jinsi shuhuda za mabadiliko zilizotolewa na watoto waliopata watoto zimeleta mwanga mpya. Tunahitaji kupata taarifa za utekelezaji wa afua hizi kila baada ya miezi mitatu ili kufuatilia maendeleo na kuimarisha uendelevu wa mradi huu,” alisema Sovela.

Whats up this is kinda of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding skills so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
