Amesema askari walifika eneo la tukio na kuchukua mwili wa mtoto na kuurejesha Hospitali ya Rufaa ya Mkoa wa Geita, ambapo mwili huo ulitambuliwa na madaktari na kuthibitisha mtoto alikuwa amefariki.

Shuhuda wa tukio, Baraka Mathayo amesema alimuona mwanaume huyo akitupa boksi lenye kanga na kisha kukimbia na alipofika kutazama kilichotupwa alishangazwa kuona kilichomo ni mtoto.
