DODOMA: Serikali imesema haijauza wala kukabidhi rasilimali za misitu au maliasili za Tanzania kwa mataifa ya nje kupitia makubaliano ya biashara ya kaboni.
Akizungumza na waandishi wa habari Juni 26, 2026 jijini Dodoma, Waziri wa Nchi, Ofisi ya Makamu wa Rais (Muungano na Mazingira), Mhandisi Hamad Yussuf Masauni, amekanusha madai yaliyotolewa na baadhi ya viongozi wa vyama vya upinzani, akieleza kuwa taarifa zinazodai serikali imekabidhi maliasili kwa wawekezaji wa nje si za kweli na zinapotosha umma.
Alisema Serikali ya Awamu ya Sita imeweka msingi wa kisheria na kiutawala wa kusimamia biashara ya kaboni ili kuhakikisha Tanzania inanufaika na soko la kimataifa la biashara hiyo.
