Waziri Mkuu akagua mradi wa maji Kwamaligwa
WAZIRI Mkuu, Dk Mwigulu Nchemba leo Februari 14, 2026 amekagua mradi wa maji wa Kwamaligwa uliopo wilaya ya Kilindi mkoani Tanga ambao utagharimu sh bilioni 6.98 hadi kukamilika kwake.
Mradi huo unaotekelezwa kwa fedha za Mfuko wa Maji chini ya usimamizi wa Wakala wa Maji na Usafi wa Mazingira Vijijini (RUWASA) unatoka kwenye bwawa lenye uwezo wa kuhifadhi maji lita 670,902,360 kwa mwaka.
Mradi huo unatarajiwa kuhudumia jumla ya wananchi 36,263, wakiwemo wananchi 32,641 wa Kata ya Kibirashi (vijiji sita) na wananchi 3,622 wa Kata ya Kisangasa, Kijiji cha Kwediswati.
Mpaka sasa mkandarasi amelipwa jumla ya sh bilioni 4.61 kwa kazi alizotekeleza.
