ARUSHA; Wizara ya Nishati imeibuka kinara kwa kutwaa Tuzo ya Wizara Bora kwa Utendaji (Best Performing Ministry Award) katika eneo la Ufuatiliaji, Tathmini na Kujifunza (MEL), katika Kongamano la Tano la Kitaifa la MEL 2026 linaloendelea jijini Arusha.
Tuzo hiyo imekabidhiwa Septemba 23, 2026 na Naibu Spika wa Bunge, Daniel Sillo, wakati wa ufunguzi rasmi wa Kongamano la MEL 20260.
Tuzo hiyo inaitambua Wizara ya Nishati kwa utendaji na matumizi ya mifumo ya ufuatiliaji na tathmini katika kuimarisha utekelezaji wa mipango, programu na miradi ya sekta ya nishati.
Akizungumza kuhusumafanikio hayo, Mkurugenzi wa Kitengo cha Ufuatiliaji na Tathmini wa Wizara ya Nishati, Anitha Ishengoma, amesema wizara inajivunia kutambuliwa kwa juhudi na mafanikio yake katika eneo la ufuatiliaji na tathmini, jambo linalodhihirisha dhamira ya wizara katika kuimarisha utendaji unaozingatia ushahidi na matokeo.
“Tunajivunia kuona juhudi na mafanikio ya sekta ya nishati katika ufuatiliaji na tathmini yakitambuliwa kwa kutunukiwa Tuzo ya Sekta Bora kwa Utendaji 2026.
“Tuzo hii ni matokeo ya kazi ya pamoja, uwajibikaji, ushirikiano na kujituma kwa Wizara ya Nishati pamoja na Taasisi zilizo chini yake,” amesema Ishengoma.
Amefafanua kuwa mafanikio hayo yanaakisi dhamira ya wizara ya kuendelea kutumia ufuatiliaji na tathmini kama nyenzo muhimu ya kusimamia utendaji, utekelezaji wa mipango, programu na miradi, pamoja na kuwezesha ufanyaji wa maamuzi unaozingatia ushahidi na matokeo.
“Tunatoa shukrani kwa uongozi, watumishi na wadau wote waliochangia kufanikisha mafanikio haya. Tuzo hii si mwisho wa safari, bali ni chachu ya kuongeza kasi, ubora, uwajibikaji na kuleta matokeo yenye tija katika sekta ya nishati kwa manufaa ya wananchi,” amesisitiza Ishengoma
